Tattoo Tuesday {72} Luna Lovegood

Do you have a literary tattoo? I’d love to feature it!

Just send me an email with a picture and story behind it.

As someone who both has a HP tattoo and named their cat Luna, it should be of little surprise that I love this tattoo. But come on! You can’t tell me you don’t think it’s awesome.

This is my Luna Lovegood inspired tattoo. I love Harry Potter and wanted to get something that shows that, but in a different style. My friend Max did this tattoo for me and he couldn’t have done it more perfect! It took 4 hours (maybe longer) and I was in agony, but it was definitely worth the pain :)

People are so freaking creative when it comes to their HP love!

    This one is awesome.

Love me some loony luna :) She had to be one of the best characters in that series!

  3. omg, that’s so cute!!!!! Luna is definitely a personal favorite of mine. I love how she views the world–and the people in it–with more clarity than “saner” characters, and yet she’s discredited so often because people don’t take the time to truly *hear* her.

I was lucky enough to meet Evanna Lynch at this year’s LeakyCon in Orlando and she IS Luna Lovegood. I love the fact that she came from the fandom, and she is such a sweetheart to boot! Though, it was a bit weird seeing her party with the girl playing Pansy Parkinson. I was tempted to check her for confudus charms!

    Smiles!

I love your Tattoo Tuesdays, and I especially love Luna!
I love love LOVE this tattoo! I love that it’s HP, I adore that it’s Luna, and it’s so cool that it’d take a real fan to get the tat. Any fan would look at it and KNOW, anyone else would just think it was really awesome (and odd) tattoo :D
