This book in 6 words:

really loved characters and historical changes

Why did I read this? And am I glad I did?

While I have been reading all the novellas in order along with the full-length books, I haven’t been taking the time to review them since some of them are so short that I’m not even counting them in my book lists. This one, however, deserves its own mini-review. I LOVED the twist in Dracula’s story! It was insanely creative. The relationship was extremely sad, and unlike the previous stories, these two have known each other for 500 years.

If you haven’t read the novellas, I highly recommend this one even though it doesn’t have necessary info for the whole series.

Brief Summary

Over five hundred years ago, Dracula’s daughter, Esperetta’s soul was bound to her husband’s by dark magic, and when Velkan became a Dark-Hunter, to her horror, she became immortal as well. Now, they must come together to fight an old enemy– that is if Retta doesn’t kill Velkan first.
