romance was rushed in interesting way
Why did I read this? And am I glad I did?
I found Wulf’s curse to be both extremely interesting and utterly depressing. I can’t imagine how lonely it would be to not have most people remember you. I found his protective nature to be about as annoying as Eric did (but at least I could laugh about it), however, given his situation I would probably act the same way. I loved the twist that threw Cassandra and Wulf’s relationship into the next level, but a part of me felt like I couldn’t take their love as seriously afterward.
What I really enjoyed about this book was learning more about Appolites and Daimons. I can understand why the Dark Hunters don’t want to know more about them seeing how they have to kill them on a daily basis, however, as a reader I have a new understanding for some of the cursed race.
Brief Summary
Wulf is an ancient Viking warrior with a useful but extremely aggravating power-amnesia. No one who meets him in person can remember him 5 minutes later. It makes it easy to have one-night stands, but hard to have a meaningful relationship, and without true love he can never regain his soul.
When he finally meets Cassandra, the one woman who can remember him, she turns out to be the princess of the cursed race he’s sworn to hunt-and forbidden to him. The two of them must face ancient curses, prophecies, and the direct meddling of the Greek gods to find true happiness at last.

I am having as much fun reading what you think about the series as I did reading it. Funny thing, I read them all from August to December last year (never had heard of them before that)! Wulf’s story had me crying at one point, it was so sad!
