Do you have a literary tattoo? I’d love to feature it!
Just send me an email with a picture and story behind it.
As birthday presents to each other one of my friends (DeLaMi) and I finally got our Harry Potter tattoos! She is the one who first made me read the series and has since dressed up for each midnight book/movie release with me
And when I say “made me” I mean it. I did not want to read “kids books”… I was so so so wrong…
I got “lumos” and she got “nox”. This means a few things to us. First (and most obviously), it displays our love of HP. We felt it best represented the balance of light and dark in the books. That and she’s evil, I appear to be nicer in comparison
I got mine in a modified Quijote Sauvage font in black on my right foot.

(you can see a few more pics here)
Dee got hers in dark blue on her left side.
Both were done by Alex at New Age Tattoos in Springfield, IL
I am in LOVE with my newest tattoo and cannot stop staring at it (even though it’s getting to the itchy stage…). This makes me want to curl up with some Harry Potter and plan my HP party kit giveaway…
Do you have a literary tattoo?
Please let me know so I can feature you!

It looks amazing! I am so jealous.
Awesome tats! Love the fonts you both used! Thanks for the pictures! I wouldn’t be able to stop staring, too.
@ Jennifer : Thank you!
@ Missie : Thanks!!
FANTASTIC!!! love love love!!!
Gorgeous font! I’ve heard that the top of the foot is very painful to tattoo, so am wondering how much it hurt?
@ Rachel : Aww thanks
@ Alexia561 : Thank you! It actually wasn’t that bad. Specially since it was just line work and didn’t take that long.
It turned out so great! Now I’m hankering for a new tattoo
@ Alita : Thank you
awesome and quite lovely!
@ Darth Rachel : Thanks!
