This feature isn’t nearly as creepy as it sounds… at least I hope not.
Here is where I shine the spotlight on a fellow book blogger
that has earned a spot in my GoogleReader.
Featuring Jessica @ Book Bound!!
I’m not sure how I came across Jessica’s blog. Probably via another amazing book blogger
Her blog is just plain gorgeous!! Seriously if for no other reason please head over to see how pretty it is. But she also writes great reviews and just so happens to have a similar taste in books to my own.
She is currently hosting a contest for a signed copy Mind Games! Be sure to sign up here!

E-Piracy — She talks about how many people don’t know that it’s illegal and why it is. She also points you over to an interview with one of my favorite authors talking about the subject.
REVIEW: Shadowfae by Erica Hayes — After reading this I instantly added the book to my TBR list! Jessica’s reviews are so well-written that I’m inclined to want to read anything she writes about lol.
AUTHOR INTERVIEW & GIVEAWAY – Rachel Vincent — I’m a new Rachel Vincent fan and this just made me want to pick up more of her books. (The contest is now closed.)
AUTHOR INTERVIEW – Julie Kagawa — Yet another amazing author interview! I love the questions she comes up with!
Mini Interview
1. Why did you start a book blog?
I started Book Bound with the intention of it being a writing blog. After only about a week, I discovered the world of book blogging, with great thanks to the fantastic art of networking, and decided I wanted in on the fun. I have been an avid reader for a few years, and felt that a book blog would be a great way for me to discuss the books that I both love and hate with other people.
2. If you could have dinner with any author (dead or alive) who would it be?
There are SO many authors I would LOVE to meet for even a second (I could name off 40 authors before naming a single celebrity), but I think I would have to say…Gena Showalter. I have been fortunate enough to converse with Gena through e-mail, and she seems very well grounded and unbelievably kind and generous. Not to mention, I have seen her Author Talk videos (with Jill Munroe) and she seems (they both seem) like so much fun!
3. Do you have a secret favorite book? A guilty pleasure?
Honestly, I have a secret favorite series….it is my go to series when I am itching for something that brings all of my favorite elements to the table (humor, drama, action, romance…oh, the romance). Lol! It’s the Immortals After Dark series by Kresley Cole. The paranormal romance series that started it all for me.
4. Sum up your day, your life, or yourself using just six words:
Hmmm…how about: I’d rather be reading or writing.
5. Do you have any advice for fellow book blogger?
Well, I am fairly new to the world of blogging, but I would have to say the best piece of advice I could pass on would be: Do it for yourself, and be honest. Don’t review books a certain way to please fellow bloggers or publishers/authors. If you didn’t like a book, be truthful about it, but never bash the author. Personal taste determines whether or not someone will like a book…you review is just like a heads up to let others know what to expect. If you say you loved a book when you really didn’t, your credibility goes down the drain.
Thank you so much Jessica!!
Be sure you guys head over and check out her blog!
