In honor of getting 25 Hour Books up and running I am giving away a copy of one of my favorite books, The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger!! The book tells the love story of Henry and Claire. Claire meets Henry when she is 6 and he is 36. Henry has a genetic disorder causing him to time travel and he has no control on where or when he goes. Claire meets with Henry many time as she is growing up as he visits her at her parents’ home. When Claire is 20 and Henry is 28 they run into each other in a library in Chicago, IL. The funny thing is that Henry at 28 has yet to meet Claire. The author, Audrey Neffenegger, weaves an amazingly touching love story through time. It touches on love, loss, time travel, sex, relationships and family. I don’t want to say too much in fear of giving something away. Just be sure to have a box of tissues near.
